uConnect Workshop: Promoting AI Search on Campus
AI Search is live on your Virtual Career Center — but if your students, faculty, and alumni don't know it's there, it can't do its job. In this workshop, we helped attendees close that gap with a clear promotion plan and a toolkit of ready-to-use assets.
Workshop highlights:
- Core messaging that works across audiences: we walked through how to introduce AI Search to students, faculty and staff, and alumni — and how to strengthen your messaging further if you've uploaded your Outcomes Data
- Where to promote AI Search on your VCC: front page banners, alert banners, Block Editor patterns, and suggested prompts all give students multiple touchpoints to discover the feature
- Ready-to-use email templates and social copy for both launch and follow-up communications, so you're not starting from scratch. Check out our guide for the full AI Search Marketing Toolkit, including copy-and-paste email templates, social captions, and graphics
- Engaging faculty, staff, and alumni as referral channels — since these groups often point students toward career resources, equipping them with quick, accurate talking points extends your reach beyond direct-to-student promotion
- Handling skeptical questions from campus stakeholders: we covered clear, reassuring responses to common concerns about AI and data privacy (e.g., "Is this just ChatGPT?" and "Is student data safe?")
Attendees walked away with a clear promotion plan and a toolkit of copy-and-paste assets they could customize and launch right away.
