What is the Organizations Module and key functionalities?
Our Organizations Module is a dynamic tool that enables you to promote organizations throughout your virtual career center. With this module you can feature professional associations, student organizations, cultural groups, and more as opportunities to help students build and grow their networks within the virtual career center.
With a university subscription, you can also take advantage of our integration with CampusGroups and/or Campus Labs (powered by Anthology) to automate the import and curation of student organizations directly into your virtual career center from any (or all) of the two mentioned student org tools.
For specific instructions on how these integrations work, please read the below articles:
Regardless of which integration you activate, we can map categories in your integration to either your organization or event categories in uConnect, as well as Community pages. This level of mapping and organization ensures that an automated workflow can scale your customized support, by feeding organizations and events onto the relevant community pages, without any maintenance required from your team.
Overall, the Organizations Module also gives you access to a dedicated organization library in your virtual career center to enable end users to easily search and discover organizations while exploring your platform. Then, you can automatically feature relevant organizations on any page of your virtual career center.
Why take advantage of the Organizations Module and how it supports your work?
Students have the big task of building their own professional networks, and it is especially challenging for students who do not have relevant or current connections related to their desired career path. To level the playing field, the Organizations Module empowers students to build and grow their networks by featuring organizations through your virtual career platform that relate to their interests, including professional associations, student organizations, cultural groups, and more that they can join to enhance their resumes. Additionally, this module creates a great opportunity to advertise opportunities for students to get more involved on campus. Overall, our clients see increased engagement and user traffic to their related integrations, either CampusGroups or Anthology (CampusLabs) from promoting these student organizations on their virtual career center and then driving more traffic to the source.
