Event highlights:
In this uConnect Show & Tell session, the UCSD Rady School of Management team shares how they built an AI Career Development Community page — walking through their process, tools, and key decisions so other institutions can replicate their approach.
UCSD Rady formed a small, cross-functional task force of three (operations, career coaching, employer engagement) to move quickly and build with intention- They created an AI usage statement that normalizes AI use while reinforcing the irreplaceable value of personalized career coaching
- They built a prompt library organized by phases of their career management model — now one of their most-visited community pages
- Then, they used uConnect's Block Editor exclusively (no coding required for most features) including accordions, patterns, and a staff testimonial slideshow
- Their team took a start simple approach: curate what already exists, then layer in original content over time
