Interested in seeing a large picture view of the performance of your emails? Email analytics provide a deeper understanding of how recipients are interacting with your emails to help shape your communication strategy. You can also export your email data to keep for personal tracking purposes. Learn more about how to do this and what these numbers mean, below.

Downloading Your Email Data

You can download a spreadsheet with analytics on subscriber numbers, open rates, unique opens, click through rates, click rates, and unique clicks for all emails sent from your uConnect platform. To find this information, follow the below steps:

  1. From your dashboard expand the Engage area.

  2. Hover over 'Emails' and then 'Sent Emails.'

  3. From here, you can select 'View Report' for any given email.

  4. You now have the option to download the reports for either your opens or clicks to explore further!

Once you have downloaded your email data, it's easy to filter by title, number of subscribers, open rate, or any other data category!

Understanding Your Email Data

In the Sent Emails section, you can track the performance of your email campaigns by looking at subscriber engagement. The table shows the title of the email on the left side, followed by:

  • Type of Email: newsletter, push campaign, etc.

  • Number of Subscribers: recipients who received the email

  • Send Date: the date the email was initially sent

  • Date of Last Open: the most recent date that the email was opened by a recipient

  • Open Rate: number of times the email was opened out of the number of people to whom it was sent (this includes repeat opens by the same subscriber)

  • Unique Opens: number of unique people who opened the email out of the number of people to whom it was sent

  • Click Through Rate: the percentage of opened emails that result in a click

  • Click Rate: the percentage of delivered emails that result in a click

  • Unique Clicks: number of unique people who clicked a link in the email out of the number of people to whom it was sent
