This article will explain the four places in Uconnect that you can use the WordPress powered Block Editor, or like we like to call it, for short, just the Block Editor. This dynamic editor allows you to feel like a web designer and elevate your content to a much more interactive, visually appealing, and accessible format, app, giving you many more design options than you have with the basic editor.

You can access the Block Editor in the following locations:
Blogs & Resources
The first types of content that you can access the Block Editor within are blogs and resources. If you navigate to the blog section, you can edit any existing blogs or create a new post, and when you do so, you will be redirected to the Block Editor. You'll have access to the entire block library of various blocks you can add to build out your blocks further, as well as patterns that you may create, as well as additional media you might want to embed. Any time you add a block, you have a variety of settings on the right side of your screen that you can utilize as you create your design. Very similarly, you can also build out resources to be very compelling and dynamic, whether you're editing an existing resource or again, adding a new one. Also very similar to blogs, when you click Add New, again, you'll be brought to the Block Editor for that resource.
Pages
The last piece within Publish that you can access the block editor within are Pages, so if you navigate to Pages>All Pages>edit existing or "Add New Page," again, you can build a page from scratch or edit an existing one. When you click Add New Page, you will again be redirected to the Block Editor and can begin building out your content.
Communities
The fourth and final place you can access the Block Editor is within Community Pages. If you navigate to Manage>Communities, and then you can edit an existing page or again create a new one, but often, you're probably going to be editing existing pages.
Once you are editing a Community page, scroll down to the Content & Layout section, and click on the "Edit Static Content" button to access the Block Editor content:
You will then be redirected to the Block Editor and can begin editing or building out new content for your Community page.
Pro Tip: You can add in descriptive text in two places on Community pages: 1) the basic "Description" text box, and 2) the Block Editor via the "Edit Static Content" button, so we recommend using one section or the other, not both, to centralize all of your content in one place for your Community pages.
