Please use this checklist below as your guide to review your Outcomes data file and ensure it meets all the below requirements first before you submit. Important: Outcome data file submissions take 1-2 weeks for our Support Team to review and process so please plan accordingly!

Outcomes Data File Checklist

  • Review and understand these NACE First Destination guidelines to format your outcomes data file.

    • You may have purchased the ODV module that uses the MBA CSEA Guidelines for MBA and Specialty Master's Programs instead so please refer to these guidelines to format your data, instead of the NACE First Destination Guidelines.

  • Your file can include multiple graduation years per file, so you can submit one “master” outcomes file for all your class years. For example, if you are planning to submitting 2021, 2022, and 2023 outcomes data, you can submit them in one csv. file.

  • Only include 1 student type PER FILE, such as undergraduate students. If you would like to upload another data set for Master’s or PhD student outcomes, in addition to Undergraduate outcomes, you’ll need to purchase a second Outcomes Data module, so please reach out to your Customer Success Manager for more information.

  • Please ensure that all of your columns have header titles and that they match EXACTLY to the chart guidelines below. Even small variations, such as extra spaces or symbols, in column header titles can prevent your file from being processed correctly. Example, if you had “Academic Division-School” instead of “Academic Division/School” for the first column, we could not upload your file successfully because it does not match the chart guidelines.

  • Ensure your file is free of spelling errors and that there are no extra spaces in your column headers and entries. A misspelling or extra space can cause your file to create duplicate entries and impact the file upload.

  • Your file should contain one row/record for the data collected for each individual student. Unique identifiers (i.e. names, emails, student numbers, IDs) MUST be removed from the file before submission.

  • Once you have followed the above guidance and resources, please submit your outcome data file to us using our secure form.
