Your video library is your hub for video career exploration on your platform. In your video library, you can find all published videos on your platform, including all of your Candid Career video content. Within the library, a user can scroll through the thousands of videos available or use the filters to find content that interests them. There is also a third way to find video content, by using the Major and Occupation filter options.

Using the Major and Occupation filters is easy. First, make sure that you're looking at your video library (hint: add /videos to your front page URL to find it!).

Once there, you'll see the below 'Explore Career Journeys' options:

A screenshot of the 'Explore Career Journeys' area of the video library that also shows the 'All Majors' and 'All Occupations' dropdowns.

From here, it's a matter of selecting a major or occupation from either dropdown. The video library will then display all videos associated with someone who either received that major or who works in that field.

The Major and Occupation filters in the Candid Career+ video library are an easy way to encourage academic and career exploration via advising appointments or independent use. For example, you could instruct a student who is interested in a career in journalism to use the 'All Majors' dropdown to select 'Journalism.' The video library will then display only videos that match that major. Or a faculty member who is teaching a course where many students are interested in a career in journalism could search the occupations filter and select 'Journalist.' The professor could then copy the custom link at the top of their browser to share just that subset of videos with students who are taking their course.
