# "Accessibility Best Practices for the Virtual Career Center" Presentation

In this Career Everywhere Community webinar, Stephy covered some [recent updates](https://intercom.news/uconnect/48202-accessibility-updates-in-the-virtual-career-center) we've made to the Virtual Career Center to ensure it provides the most comprehensive accessibility options possible. She also shared some general web accessibility best practices.

​**Fun fact from Stephy: "**Accessibility is a pretty long word, so it often gets abbreviated to a11y. I love this abbreviation because it looks like the word 'ally' and the '11' in the middle represents the number of missing letters!"
