Your front page has a multitude of options for customization. These options allow you to make your platform feel both familiar and compelling as soon as your users first arrive. Read on to see how you can take advantage of these options to customize your front page!

Banner

To add a new banner to your front page, navigate to the 'Customize' section on the left hand side of your dashboard. Expand that section and select 'Banner.' From there, you will see the option to 'Upload Image.' You are able to add an image in .jpg, .png, or .svg format. For best results, we recommend adding an image that is 1600 x 460 pixels. If you would like, you also have the option to use the 'Line' feature to write text over the image, the 'Opacity' option to make the background of added text more or less opaque, and the ability to make your image clickable to a link of your choosing.

Front Page Settings

To update the content that displays on your front page, navigate to Customize > Front Page Settings. From this section of the dashboard, you can:

  • add an alert banner to the top of your platform

  • use the 'Content' dropdown to decide which of your content modules to display when visitors first arrive

  • use the 'Content Filters' dropdown to refine which content categories you want to display for that selected content type

  • select from the 'Maximum Displayed Posts' how many pieces of content you'd like users to see

  • refine the title and CTA of this front-page content section using the respective fields

If you use the Events module, you will also have the option to add an events overlay to your front-page banner by selecting 'Yes' in the 'Events Calendar in Hero Space' dropdown.
