uConnect is excited to announce an upgrade to the text editor section of your dashboard! Powered by Wordpress, our new text editor lends more flexibility over building out blog and page descriptions, making managing the layout of your description areas quick and effective.

This new Wordpress editor helps to better organize text, media, and even video content at the touch of a button through a ‘block’ feature, where each element is given its own block/section that you can easily edit and change the location of.

What’s even better is that you can preview each page before you publish a draft to your community, providing better insight into what different elements will look like before setting any changes live!

Visual elements, including PDFs, galleries, images, and more, can be added with ease through blocks, and text can be stylized to your likings with new size, location, and color options.

To add text or a new block to your blog or page’s description area, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to either Publish>Blogs, or Publish>Pages

  2. Scroll to the description section at the top, as shown below:

  1. Start writing to enter a description, or type ‘/’ to choose an available block format to add your content to (you can also select the '+' sign to add a block)

  2. Once you've added your content to a desired block, remember to save your changes, and you’re all set!
