Your media library is a great tool to store and easily add media to content across your platform. A great use case for your media library is uploading images from your institutional marketing that you can use for banner images on Community pages!
Your media library also stores images from your various integrations, such as employer logos from your Career Management System or images from LinkedIn Learning courses as examples. Every time a sync runs for one of your integrations, images will populate into your media library.
You can upload the following types of media to your media library:
Images, including .png, .eps, and .jpg
Audio, including mp3, m4a and oggnwav files
Documents, such as PDFs or Microsoft Word files
Spreadsheets, including xlsx and csv files
Note: You can not upload an xlsm. file to the media library
To add new media, you can navigate to Publish > Media, from your dashboard, and select 'Add New' or you can select the 'Add Media' button when you're editing a piece of content or a Community.
Please note that you cannot export files from your Media library and download them.
