Calendar programs allow you to export an iCalendar (. ics or iCal) feed URL. The feed URL has event data, like times, dates, locations, titles, descriptions, and time zones for events.

With uConnect, you're able to pull in events from campus calendars hosted on iCalendar feeds. This allows you to feature valuable campus events alongside other relevant career and academic-related information for students, and even helps you manage events pulled in from your iCal feed directly from the Publish>Events section of your dashboard.

The iCal feeds need to end in .ics and can be pulled from the Apple iCal button on your whatever page you are viewing. Since we're unfamiliar with how the tagging works with these feeds for your institution, we can only help to troubleshoot to a point since we don't own these feeds.

To add a new iCalendar feed to the platform, submit a new support request, sending the .ics feed you'd like to add along, and a uConnect team member will be happy to support!

Important: When you send us the iCal feed, please specify 1) the event type/content category you want to use, and 2) the community page(s) you want the events to appear on.
