uConnect Product Release Notes (Aug 18 – Sep 01, 2026)

The latest updates from uConnect's Product and Engineering teams include a personalized welcome banner in AI Search, refined filtering so only employers with active openings appear in results, a streamlined account setup flow, and automatic removal of expired job postings from search.

Here are some exciting yet important product updates our Product and Engineering teams have made to your uConnect platform recently:

AI Search

  • Added a personalized, logged-in welcome banner on new search screens highlighting the user's communities, class year, and more, with a quick link to customize preferences
  • Refined search logic for hiring employers to ensure only organizations with current, active job openings are displayed
  • Enhanced result ranking to prioritize fresh, timely blog posts when possible; when only older resources are available, added date contextualization (e.g., "Here's what Fall 2022 recruiting trends looked like — worth keeping in mind these may have shifted, but here's what stood out")
  • Ensured AI Search draws information from a single source at a time, preventing details from being incorrectly combined across different resources

  • Added a quick launch link to personalized search immediately upon finishing account registration
