How Dynamic Content Feeds Work on Community and Channel Pages
What is a Dynamic Feed on a Community or Channel page?
A Dynamic Feed is the default Featured Articles section on Community and Channel pages. It pulls in content that has been tagged to that Community, including blogs, resources, and videos.
How does the Dynamic Feed choose what to display?
The Dynamic Feed is configured by content type. By default, it is set to show Blog posts. If Resources or Videos are also selected for that feed, those content types will appear in the Featured Articles section as well.
How do I update the Dynamic Feed settings?
To change what appears in the Dynamic Feed:
- Go to Manage > Communities
- Find the relevant Community or Channel and click Edit
- Scroll to Featured Content
- Update the Dynamic Feed settings
- Select the content types you want displayed
- Deselect any content types you do not want shown in the Featured Articles section
How do I keep blogs in Featured Articles and Resources in the Resources section?
To keep the sections separate, configure the Dynamic Feed to show only Blogs and deselect Resources and Videos if they are not needed in that section. That way, Featured Articles shows the chosen content types, and other content remains in the standard Resources section.
What should I check if content appears in both sections?
If the same item appears in both Featured Articles and Resources, review the Dynamic Feed settings under Featured Content and confirm which content types are selected for that Community or Channel page.
