Community Experts can submit blog posts and events, and can also display their public profiles on the platform.
Community Experts' profiles appear in the Featured Users section on relevant pages, organized by their advising category. This allows visitors to quickly find experts in specific subject areas.
Selecting a Community Expert's name takes visitors to that expert's full profile page.
If you already have an account and would like to become a Community Expert, contact an Admin or Staff member and ask them to update your user type to Community Expert. If you don't yet have an account, learn how to create one.
Note: Only Admins, Staff, and Student Staff can assign the Community Expert user type to an account and add a Community Expert's profile to the site. Learn how to assign the Community Expert user type.
