How to Request Removal of a Widget (Platform-wide or Page-Specific)

Summary This article covers the two removal options (delete from all areas of the platform or remove from specific links/pages) and gives step‑by‑step instructions for submitting a removal request, including information to provide and helpful attachments.

Removal options:

  • Delete from all areas of the platform: the widget is removed everywhere it appears.
  • Remove from requested links/pages only: the widget remains on other pages but is removed from the specified links or pages you list.

How to request a widget removal:

  1. Identify the widget:
    • Provide the widget type (for example: Users/Staff widget, Organizations widget).
    • Provide the widget ID exactly (for example: #uc_featured_users-2, #uc_organizations-3).
  2. Specify the removal scope:
    • Indicate whether you want the widget deleted from all areas of the platform or only from the requested links. Use a clear phrase such as "Please only remove from requested links" when you want a page-specific removal.
  3. List the exact pages/links:
    • Add the full URLs or channel/page links where you want the widget removed.
    • If a page should retain certain widgets, list which widget(s) should remain (for example: "The only widget that should live on this page is #uc_lmi-2").
  4. Provide additional details:
    • Explain where the widget is appearing (for example: "appearing in the footer to the right of contact and service hours").
    • Attach screenshots if helpful to show placement or unintended appearance.
  5. Submit the request through the widget form so Support can process it (linked in the Contact Support' button in the Knowledge Base

What Support will do:

  • Support processes removal requests and will remove the widget according to the scope you specified (either global removal or removal only from the requested links).
