Understanding multi-day events and featuring events on your front page

Sometimes you may find events that appear to be in the past but for some reason they are still appearing in your uConnect platform. Why could this be?

In reality, the events are not in the past, but rather they extend over multiple days. The event icon will depict the start date of the event, and will persist until the event end date.

Note: this only affects the front page Events widget that overlays on your front page banner. This would not affect other Event widgets on the lower part of your front page or throughout your uConnect pages/platform.

You can hide individual events from the front page that persist over multiple days by going to Publish > Events, editing the event(s) in question, and selecting the box "hide event on front page."

If you want this setting to apply for all events on the front page, you can make this a default setting under Customize > Front Page Settings and select "Yes" for exclude multi-day events. See attached screenshot.
