you may want to add users to your uConnect instance in order for them to look at analytics or customize the embed code

The Labor Market Insights module enables a user to make informed decisions about their potential career pathway, by allowing them to gain more insight into the context, requirements, and demand for potential occupations within their industry of interest.

Curate your data to embed:

Log in to your uConnect platform. Navigate to your Labor Market Insights Module, once logged in and you should see the embed icon on the top right near the Lightcast logo.

*Note: If you are not seeing the embed logo on the Page please submit a support request if you need assistance.

Once you've selected the embed code button, you have options to curate the data that's available when someone is browsing the module on the page that it is embedded on.

Within the embed configuration screen, you will see dropdown options to customize the code before embedding in your institution’s site. Changing the options in these dropdown menus will change the code before you copy it, allowing you to customize how users are able to search with the module on different webpages.

For example, if you'd like to embed a filtered set of labor market data, say only data related to Finance to embed on an academic Finance program page, you can do so by selecting a Career Cluster(s) or Pathway(s) from the dropdowns in the ‘Limit Browsing by:’ section. As the title suggests, any filters you apply here will limit search results within the embedded Labor Market Insights module.

Creating a customized embed code will limit the users search, so it should only be used when featuring the module on a specific program page.

Important: If you lock your Labor Market Insights page behind SSO and try to embed it on an institutional webpage, the embed code will not work!

This video covers how to curate, define and copy code to embed Labor Market Insights data onto another website.
