With our new content editor, you can now display text and images using ‘blocks’ to present your information in a visually appealing way!

There are a variety of different types of blocks you can insert into a page or blog. Some examples include paragraph text, images, headings, galleries, custom HTML, page breaks, and more!

As you can see, blocks are vehicles for presenting many different kinds of content in an engaging and organized way.

To add a block, simply navigate to Publish>Blogs, or Publish>Pages, and as you add a new blog or page, type ‘/’ in the description section. Once you type ‘/’ into the description area, you can type in the name of a block you’d like to include and select the block name to insert your content.

Here’s an example of what you description section looks like below, before typing ‘/’:

Here are some of the options you’ll see when searching and selecting a block:

Once you select your desired type of block and include your content, remember to save the page or blog and you’ll be all set!

Note that a block can also be added by selecting the ‘+’ sign in a blog or page’s description section, as shown below:

To add a featured image from the block/description area, all you'll need to do is navigate to the right sidebar from a page or blog in the backend, and under the 'Featured Image' section, select 'Set Featured Image' to either add an image from your desktop, or insert an existing one from your media library.

If you'd like, you can even change the color of text by selecting the text you'd like to update the color of, pressing the arrow that appears to view more options, and pressing 'text color':
