Create different types of Resources (Static, Internal, External)

🕒 Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Three Resource Types:

  • Static resources

  • Internal resources

  • External resources

Each type is designed for a specific format:

  • Static resources → Directly display content on the page.

  • Internal resources → Upload files like PDFs or Word documents.

  • External resources → Link to external websites or tools.

How to Add a Resource

Your workflow starts the same for all resource types:

  1. Navigate to "Publish"

  2. Select "Resources"

  3. Click "Add New Resource"

  4. Add a title and description

Setting Up Each Resource Type

Static Resources

  • In the description section, add all content (text, media, CTAs, etc.).

  • Important: Leave the "Logo/Thumbnail, Resource Location/Document" section empty. This hides the "View Resource" button to prevent confusion.

Internal Resources

  • Keep the description brief (1-2 sentences).

  • Scroll to "Logo/Thumbnail, Resource Location/Document" and select "Internal."

  • Upload your file (PDF, .docx, etc.).

  • Complete the resource setup (add image, tags, etc.).

External Resources

  • Keep the description brief (1-2 sentences).

  • Scroll to "Logo/Thumbnail, Resource Location/Document" and select "External."

  • Paste the external URL into the provided field.

  • Complete the resource setup (add image, tags, etc.).
