uConnect is designed to help career centers understand how students engage with their career resources, while protecting individual privacy. With access to powerful insights and engagement data, your team can refine strategy, improve communications, track resource effectiveness, and understand which topics resonate most with your audience to make a bigger impact.
Below, learn where you can currently find student and individual user data in your dashboard.
For more information on aggregate level data and high-level engagement reporting, please visit this article section focused on the 'Analyze' area of your dashboard.
Logged-In Visits
Navigate to Manage > Users to see which of your students and other users have logged in to your platform. In this area, for any given user, you can see when they have last logged in to your platform by looking for a date in the 'Last Seen' column. You can also use the 'Search Users' option in the top right if you are trying to find a specific user to see when they last logged in.
Please note that since your platform is designed to be open access, many of your platform visitors may not be logging in. If you do not see a date next to a user, that user could still be visiting your platform on a regular basis!
Subscriber Preferences
Within the Engage > Subscribers area you can see which users have subscribed to receive email content from your platform. You can also see which users you have added as a subscriber to your platform.
Beyond seeing who has subscribed to your platform, you can also view if those subscribers have customized their own preferences. You can access this data in two ways. One, by searching for a given subscriber and seeing if there is a date in the 'Subscribed On' column. If there is, it means that subscriber has self-customized their email preferences, which you will see in the 'Tags' column. The second way is to export your subscribers using the 'Export List' option at the bottom of the screen. Then, you can filter only for subscribers with a date in the 'Subscribed On' column to have a list of your self-customized subscribers.
Email Engagement
On a per email basis, you are able to access a report of any subscriber who has opened that email and a report of any subscriber who has clicked on that email, including what links they clicked. These reports allow you to understand exactly who are you reaching and what they are engaging with.
To access this information, navigate to Engage > Emails > Sent Emails. Hover over any sent email and select the 'View Report' option. Then, you can click on the hyperlink for either 'Unique Opens' or 'Unique Clicks' to access individual subscriber data.
