Every once in a while, you may need to remove a page on your uConnect platform from appearing in Google search results. Deindexing is helpful when content on a page you’ve previously posted is no longer accurate, or if you’re hoping to not have the general public find a page when using the search engine.

Even after you’ve removed a page or Community on your uConnect platform, Google doesn’t delete results instantly; it takes some time for Google to visit the page again and see that it was removed. This is why deindexing can be a helpful method if you’re hoping for something to be gone from search results more quickly.

To request that Google deindex a particular page on your uConnect platform, you can submit an ask through here to help you remove a result after it is no longer published. For any questions regarding deindexing a page, contact the Support Team by submitting a ticket here.
