Dedicated team members such as data coordinators, career advisors, and student staff keep the process organized. - **Meet students at touchpoints that already exist:** Teams collect responses at cap and gown events (with iPads on hand), senior celebrations, and graduation check-in events. The University of Wyoming’s College of Business builds the survey into a required exit exam, and incentives like diploma frames and tote bags help boost participation. - **Follow up through every channel:** Countdown email campaigns, phone calls, and text messaging all play a role. Mississippi State uses targeted texts with quick-reply options, and student ambassadors follow up one-on-one. Panelists also verify data through LinkedIn and Handshake. - **Make it a campus-wide effort:** Key partners include alumni associations, MBA programs (which often run accreditation surveys), athletics, international student services, pre-health advising, honors colleges, HR, and graduate schools. Even small wins help, like getting a survey link added to the university exit survey. - **Share data thoughtfully:** Outcomes data is sensitive, so panelists share aggregated reports rather than raw responses and answer specific data requests themselves.
