How it works **Note:** If a resource needs to appear in more than one widget, you will need to assign it to multiple categories — one for each widget where it should appear. Be aware that this means it will show up in all widgets filtered to those categories. - Each Resources widget pulls from a set of resources. If two widgets use the same source set, adding a resource to one widget will make it appear in both. - To keep widgets independent and to "pin" specific items in each widget, configure distinct categories and filter each widget to a single category. Step‑by‑step: Separate widgets and pin items 1. Create separate resource categories - Navigate to: Manage → Content Categories → Resources - Create distinct categories for each widget or section you want to keep independent. Example category names: - Staff – Featured Resources - Staff – Additional Resources 1. Assign resources to a single category - Edit each resource and assign it to the one category where you want it to appear. - Ensure resources meant to remain in one widget are not assigned to the category used by another widget. 1.
