The LMI embed code is used to add the Labor Market Insights widget to external webpages. It can be pasted into a university website or HTML test site to preview and publish the widget. ## How do you embed Labor Market Insights on another website? To embed the Labor Market Insights module: 1. Log in as a platform admin. 2. Open the public-facing Labor Market Insights page on your uConnect platform, not the dashboard. 3. In the top-right corner of the LMI module, select the embed icon. 4. Copy the iframe code from the first box. 5. Paste the code into any website that supports iframe code. ## Can the LMI embed be customized? Yes. The embed can be customized with settings such as: - **Career Category (cluster)** or **Pathway** filters - **Search options**: - by keyword - by career clusters/pathways - by both - **Compact mode** You can also create multiple filtered embed codes for different pages. ## How do you filter the embedded LMI widget? Use the **“Limit browsing by”** section in the embed configuration modal to select: - one or more Career Categories - specific Pathways You can also choose how visitors search within the embedded module using the **“Able to search by”** dropdown. ## What should you know about keyword search in the embed? Keyword search can be enabled or disabled, but it cannot be used to lock the embed to a single occupation by keyword alone. Filters must be selected through the embed configuration modal. ## What if the embed icon is not visible? The embed icon is visible only to platform admins when logged in. If the icon is still not appearing for an admin account, the allowlist may need to be updated so the embed can load on a site with a different URL than the uConnect site. ## What should you do after adding the code? After pasting the code into your website, the Labor Market Insights module should appear in full function. If needed, test it on an HTML test site first to preview how it will display. ## Troubleshooting ### Why might the embed not load on an external site? If the embed is being placed on a site with a different URL than the uConnect site, the allowlist may need to be updated. ### What if the widget is not showing the expected filters? Check the embed configuration and confirm that the correct Career Category or Pathway was selected in the **“Limit browsing by”** section. ### What if you want to use the embed on more than one page?
