[Modules & Integrations](https://support.gouconnect.com/articles/modules-integrations) # Symplicity Event Types uConnect's Symplicity events integration now supports expanded event category imports. You can import a wider range of event types directly into your uConnect platform, including career fairs, workshops, information sessions, and more. Previously, only events tagged to one of three categories in Symplicity — Career Fair, Workshop, or Information Session — could be imported into uConnect. With this integration, you're able to specify which types of career fairs, workshops, and more that you'd like to import, as well as include additional core event categories, such as the following: To enable or adjust which event categories are imported, contact our support team or reach out to your account manager. If you use custom event categories in your Symplicity instance, contact our support team to find out whether those categories can also be imported into uConnect. If there are certain event types or categories you'd prefer to exclude, we can omit them from your uConnect system. Additionally, any event category imported from Symplicity can be mapped to content categories and Communities in uConnect. For example, events tagged as 'Career Fair - Event Type' in Symplicity can be mapped to a 'Career Fairs' content category tag in uConnect, allowing students to filter by career fairs on an event page and easily find relevant content. For example, if you'd like all career fairs to appear in a Business Community on your platform, our team can update your integration to pull those events from Symplicity into the relevant Communities.
