Learn how the ODV module empowers students, alumni, and employers to explore graduate trends through dynamic, filterable charts. ### **Overview** All uConnect customers can now upload student outcomes data and use it to power AI Search responses and an in-dashboard preview. The Outcomes Data Visualization (ODV) module takes this a step further: it lets you display your outcomes data publicly on your Virtual Career Center as an interactive, filterable visualization — accessible to students, prospective students, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders. Think of outcomes data upload as the foundation and ODV as the public-facing display layer on top of it. ### **What ODV Adds** - **A public-facing Outcomes page:** Your outcomes data appears as a dedicated, interactive page on your VCC that students and visitors can explore. - **Interactive charts and visualizations:** Data is displayed dynamically with charts covering employment rates, top employers, starting salaries, industry destinations, geographic locations, and more. - **Filterable by major, class year, and custom fields:** Users can filter outcomes to find data most relevant to them — by their major, graduation year, or custom data points you provide. - **Embeddable on external sites:** Use an iframe embed code to feature your outcomes data on your institution's main website, admissions pages, department pages, and more. - **Community-level filtering:** Showcase filtered outcomes data within specific community pages on your VCC, so history majors see history outcomes, business majors see business outcomes, and so on. ### **A Look Ahead: Engagement Score** Institutions that upload outcomes data — especially with User ID and User Email included — are positioning themselves for a significant upcoming feature: Engagement Score. Engagement Score will connect individual student engagement activity on your VCC to real post-graduation outcomes. With ODV and outcomes data in place, your institution will be able to close the loop: understanding not just what your graduates achieved, but how their career center engagement contributed to those results. This is the data story that institutional leaders, accreditors, and prospective students increasingly expect. | **💡 Pro Tip** Career engagement is one of the few leading indicators institutions can directly influence — and outcomes are where that influence shows up. Institutions that connect these two data points will be better positioned to demonstrate the value of their career services investment. The sooner outcomes data is uploaded with student identifiers, the richer that story will be. | | --- | ### **Data Types Supported** ODV supports two data templates: - **Undergraduate / First Destination:** Displays employment rates, top employers, starting salaries, locations, top fields of study, and more. If you want to display both undergraduate and graduate outcomes, a second ODV module can be added.
