Create Career Communities
Creating a Career Community in uConnect starts in the dashboard by adding a new shared tag under the appropriate parent tag (such as Academic Categories, Industries, or Audience), which then becomes the foundation for that community's front-end page. Once the shared tag is created, admins can customize it with a header image, description, and either a static or dynamic template — then reach out to the uConnect team to get it added to the site's navigation menu.
In the dashboard, Career Communities are classified as Communities. You add, delete or edit Career Communities on the front-end of your site by editing the corresponding Communities in the dashboard.

Communities are organized by their Community Groups or parent tag. For example, the shared tags "Accounting", "Electrical Engineering" and "Journalism" are all majors, and would therefore fall under the same Community group/parent tag. The default parent tag for majors is "Academic Categories", but can be changed to reflect your organizational preferences. Meanwhile, "Students" and "Faculty" are both audience types, and would therefore fall under the default Community group/parent tag - "Audience".
Note: Community group/parent tag have no influence on how your content displays on the front-end. They're only used to organize your content in the shared tags section of your admin dashboard. You have full autonomy to change the names of Community group/parent tag., and dictate which Community group/parent tag you want to assign to each shared tag.
