Learn how to unsubscribe from custom or automated emails

Unsubscribe from receiving uConnect automated and custom emails.

As a quick refresher, there are two types of emails that can be sent on uConnect: automated and custom emails. Automated alerts are personalized emails sent to your users whenever something is posted on the platform that matches their unique interests identified. This alert system is completely automated and self-maintaining. Custom emails are one-off, customized messages that are created through uConnect's custom email builder, to send specific messages to targeted audiences.

We highly recommend leaving both automated and custom emails enabled, so all subscribers can receive content pushed out by your career team or automatically through the uConnect platform whenever there is information that matches their unique interests and needs.

If a subscriber does wish to unsubscribe from either automated or custom emails, this can be managed by logging into their subscriber account, and selecting under their user profile 'Alerts & Emails'. From here, you should be brought to the view below, where a user can either unsubscribe from all automated emails/newsletters above, or unsubscribe from custom emails from the career center at the bottom:
